A historical summit meeting opens in Pyongyang today with South and North Korea leaders meeting just for the second time in 50 years after the 1950-1953 Korean war. The first meeting was held in 2000 signaling willingness for rapprochement policy between Seoul and Pyongyang. For the first time, South Korean President, Roh Moo-hyun and his wife got off their car in the demilitarized zone and crossed the borders on foot. Next they got back on their car and continued on their way to Pyongyang by car.
